I was recently consulted as to history of south Humber coastal lowlands by Humber Nature Partnership based at Water’s Edge Visitor Centre, Barton.
My next talk will be on Friday 18th November, 7-30 and taking place at the Assembly Rooms, Barton (the last of Barton Civic Soc. talks this year). It is entitled ‘Assembly Rooms to Sabre-tooth tiger’ and is about just that!
The next public talk organised by Barton Civic Soc. will take place on Sept. 16th at the Joseph Wright Hall, Barton. John Scotney (Chairman of Hull Civic Soc.) will speak on the late Victorian architect Cuthbert Brodrick, to whom Joseph Wright was apprenticed (see bartoncivicsociety.co.uk).
